TNC, childish as usual, censors the comment from Mike Ferrando.
There is a baptism context, explaining verse 7. Also Rebaptism is similar.

Wow, I posted a comment on his page. I said that "water, blood, spirit" is not a verse in the bible. The father is quoting from memory and/or the verse is corrupted in his copy. Also, I said that this "quote" says nothing about whether verse 7 was in his manuscript. Finally, I said that
this mention of verse 8, has nothing to do with whether verse 7 exists. I referenced Leo's Tome (Greek translators in the council of Ephesus) and I also mentioned Facundus arguments "in earth" concerning the real humanity of the incarnation while also quoting from Leo's Tome. These facts demonstrated that there was nothing in this manuscript mention of verse 8 that was relevant to the issue of whether verse 7 was originally part of John's letter. I then gave a link to my paper "The Witness of God is Greater". No wonder he didn't allow my comment. I completely smashed his little nonsense post.
His reply, is basically saying "Yes, I admit that this father's manuscript is corrupt".
